Therefore, in accordance with the current Tidal Wetlands Code (Chapter 275) and the Coastal Erosion Hazard Area (Chapter 111) no permit is required. Please be advised, however, that no construction, sedimentation, or disturbance of any kind may take place seaward of the tidal wetlands jurisdictional boundary or seaward of the coastal erosion hazard area as indicated above, or within 100' landward from the top of the bluff, without further authorization from the Southold Town Board of Trustees pursuant to Chapter 275 and/or Chapter 111 of the Town Code. It is your responsibility to ensure that all necessary precautions are taken to prevent any sedimentation or other alteration or disturbance to the ground surface or vegetation within Tidal Wetlands jurisdiction and Coastal Erosion Hazard Area, which may result from your project. Such precautions may include maintaining adequate work area between the tidal wetland jurisdictional u.u boundary and the coastal erosioll ha.z.ard area and your proiect or erecting a t!'!.mporary fence, barrier, or hay bale berm. The tax map number for this property is #1000-54-01-17. I am requesting a letter of non jurisdiction concerning the proposed addition and renovation to this residence. This property has been previously reviewed by the board who issued a letter of non jurisdiction dated October 30, 2000. Please fmd enclosed a survey dated September 18, 2000, depicting the existing conditions of the property, a site plan showing the existing home and the home with the proposed addition and fma1ly a letter authorizing me to act on the owners behalf in this matter. However, any activity within 100' of the Wetland line and/or seaward of the Coastal Erosion Hazard Line would require a permit from this office. Any activity within 25' landward of the Coastal Erosion Hazard Line would require further review from this office. This determination is not a determination from any other agency.
