THIS IS TO CERTIFY THAT THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION NO. 2006-702 WAS
ADOPTED AT THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE SOUTHOLD TOWN BOARD ON
AUGUST 22, 2006:
RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of South old hereby authorizes and directs
Supervisor Scott A. Russell to execute the Al!reement between the Town of Southold and
the Villal!e of Greenport for the use of the Villal!e Marine Pump-Out Station in connection
with the Trustees' pump-out boat, subject to the approval of the Town Attorney.

AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE VILLAGE OF GREENPORT AND
THE TOWN OF SOUTHOLD REGARDING
THE USE OF THE VILLAGE MARINE PUMP OUT STATION
The Village of Green port, 236 Third Street, Greenport, New York, 11944, and the
Town of South old, 54375 Route 25, Southold, New York 11971, do hereby agree as follows:
I. The Village of Greenport operates a marine pump out facility for the purpose
of removing normal waste from boats operating in Greenport Harbor and its
vicinity.
2. The Town Trustees ofthe Town of Southold operates a pump-out boat in the
waters of Greenport and Southold Town for the purposes of removing normal
waste from boats operating in Greenport Harbor and its vicinity and the waters
of South old Town.
3. The Village of Greenport hereby agrees that the Village Pump Out Station will
accept normal waste from the Town Trustees' pump-out boat at a charge to the
Town of fifty cents ($.50) per gallon during the period of July 1,2006 through
and including December 31,2006.
4. The Mitchell Marina Dockmaster or his/her designee and the Southold Pump-Out
boat operator will jointly agree on the amount of waste off-loaded at the Village
Pump-Out Station.
5. This contract shall be reviewed for renewal annually by the Village of
Greenport and all future contracts will be for a period not less than one (1) year.
6. This contract shall remain in effect until either it is cancelled by either party or the
Village offers a new contract.
7. All waste received must comply to the rules & regulations of the Village Sewer
Code.
