WITNESSETH, that the party of the first part, in consideration of TEN DOLLARS ($10.00)
dollars,
lawful money of the United States, paid
by the party of the second part, does hereby grant and release unto the party of the second part, the heirs or
successors and assigns of the party of the second part forever,
ALL that certain plot, piece or parcel of land, with the buildings and improvements thereon erected, situate,
lying and being koAor at Fishers Island, Town of Southold, County of Suffolk and
State of New York, more specifically bounded and described as follows:
BEGINNING at a drill hole in a rock on the shore of West Harbor, said point
being 1626.53 feet north of a point which is 108.42 feet East of a monument marking
the U. S. Coast E Geodetic Survey Triangulation Station "PROS" and thence running
South 17 degrees 42 minutes West 101.9 feet; thence South 83 degrees 11 minutes
East 58.0 feet to a spike; thence North 34 degrees 34 minutes East 75.0 feet
to the shore of said Harbor; thence Northwesterly along said shore line about
80 feet to the point of beginning, containing 0.14 acres, more or less.
TOGETHER with a right of way over the existing roadway leading Northerly
and Northwesterly from the Gloaming to the above described tract.
SUBJECT to covenants and restrictions of record.
BEING and intended to be the same premises conveyed by Fishers Island
Farms, Inc. to Edmund Hedge and Bertha Hedge, his wife by deed dated January
18, 1955* The aforesaid Edmund Hedge died at Norwich, Connecticut on September
27, 1975, and the aforesaid Bertha Hedge died intestate at New London, Connecticut
on November 27, 1983, leaving her survivingas heisole heir and distributee, her
son Edmund C. Hedge, the party of the first part herein.
