HomeMy WebLinkAboutL 5739 P 570 LIIER5739 FR6E570 COUNTY OF SUFFOLK, NEW YORK Quitclaim Deed in connection with certain real property in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, pursuant to Resolution No. 187, relating to the disposition of County-owned property R�sl �k THIS INDENTURE, made this L� ` day of April, L965, between the 0 COUNTY OF SUFFOLK, acting by and through the Chairman of the Board of Super- visors of Suffolk County, New York, pursuant to Resolution No. 187-1965, with its principal office in the County Center, Riverhead, New York, party of the first part, and CAROLINE CANE, residing at 730 Park Avenue, New York 21, New York, party of the second part, W I T N E S S E T H: That the party of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED ($1,200.00) DOLLARS, paid by the party of the second part, does hereby remise, release and quitclaim unto the party of the second part, the heirs, successors and assigns of the party of the second part, the following bounded and described real property, to wit: ALL that piece, plat or parcel of land situated on Fishers Island in the Town of Southold, County of Suffolk, State of New York, described as follows: Property assessed to W. A. Alger Cook, acreage 1.21, Fishers Island School District b4, North and South by F. I. Estates, East by Duncan, West by F. I. Farms. BEING AND INTENDED TO BE the same premises conveyed to the County of Suffolk by deed recorded in Liber 5248 of Conveyances, at Page 113, issued October 8, 1962, Parcel No. 4444, Deed No. 2099. Together with the appurtenances and all the estate and rights of the party of the first part in and to said premises. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the premises herein granted unto the party of the second part, the heirs or successors and assigns of the party of the second part forever. This conveyance is made pursuant to the authority contained in a certain Resolution No. 187-1965, adopted by the Board of Supervisors of Suffolk County, New York, on April L2, 1965.
