WILLIAM D. GAILLARD, III, residing at 17 Meeting House Road'
Greenwich, Connecticut and PETER S. GAILLARD, residing at 17
Mountain Peak Road, Chappaqua, New York as Executors of the Last
Will and Testament of William Dawson Gaillard, late of the
�+ County of Westchester, State of New York, who died on the 8th

W I N E S S E T H
That the party of the first part, to whom letters
testamentary were issued by the Surrogate ' s Court, Westchester
County, New York on September 9, 1975 and by virtue of the
power and authority given in and by said Last Will and Testament,
and/or by Article 11 of the Estates, Powers and Trusts Law, and
in accordance with Article Second of the said Last Will and
Testament, does hereby grant and release unto the party of the
second party, the distributees or successors and assigns of the
party of the second part forever,
A certain tract or parcel of land with the
buildings standing thereof located at Fishers .
Island, Town of Southold, County of Suffolk,
State of New York, being bounded and described
as follows:
Beginning at a monument on the Westerly line
of Bell Hill Avenue, said monument being located
2368. 21 feet North of a point which is 2918. 00
feet West of another monument marking the United x;
States Coast and Geodetic Survey Triangulation
Station "PROS" and thence running North 340 17 '
46" West 186. 62 feet to a monument, abutting r;+'
Northeasterly on land now or formerly of William
D. Gaillard, Jr. ; thence South 870 02 ' 19" West
352. 32 feet to a monument; thence South 970 02'
19" West 16. 50 feet to the shore of Little Hay

land now or formerly of Marie Lee Gaillard, et
al. ;thence following the meanders of said shore
line South 60 29 ' 15" West 54. 35 feet and South
360 48 ' 00" East 121. 49 feet to land now or
formerly of William D. Gaillard III; thence
South 83° 40' 30" East 14 . 28 feet to a monument;
Sf, thence South 83° 40' 30" East 390. 00 feet to an
;E. iron pipe at said Avenue line, these two lines
abutting Southwesterly on land now or formerly
of William D. Gaillard III; thence along said
Avenue line North 4° 48 ' 10" East 60 .90 feet
to the point of beginning.
Containing 1. 74 acres, more or less.
Being a portion of the premises conveyed by
Louise W. Bowers to Marie Planten Gaillard by
deed dated September 29, 1913 recorded in Suffolk
Countv Clerk' s Office in Liber 856, Page 582.
TOGETHER with all right, title and interest
of the party of the first part in and to Bell
Hill Avenue adjoining the above-described
premises;
TOGETHER also with all right, title and
interest of the party of the first part in and
to the foreshore lying below the high water line
of Hay Harbor;
TOGETHER with the appurtenances and all the
estate and rights of the party of the first part
in and to said premises;
TOGETHER with an easement of ingress and
egress, for the benefit of said premises, over
the presently existing driveway approximately
15 feet in width passing from Bell Hill Avenue
to said premises through the land adjacent to
said premises on the north thereof now or
formerly of Marie Lee Gaillard.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the premises herein granted unto
the party of the second part, the distributees or successors and
assigns of the party of the second part forever.
SUBJECT TO those certain life estates granted unto
John Planten Gaillard for his use during his life, and upon his
death unto Elizabeth H. Gaillard, if she survives him, for her
use during her life, created by deed made as of January 1,1972
between William D. Gaillard, Jr. , John Planten Gaillard, Marie
Lee Gaillard, individually and as Trusteesunderthe Last Will
