THIS INDENTURE made as of the 31st day of December
nineteen hundred and forty, between FISHERS ISLAND ESTAT?S,
INC., a corporation organized under the laws of the State of
New York, having its principal place of business at 2 West ),5ti
Street, Borough of Manhattan, City of New York, hereinafter
called the grantor, party of the first part, and JOHN JACOBS
residing at (no street or street ms:be:r) Bryn Mawr, County of
Montgomery and State of Pennsylvania, hereinafter called the
grantee, party of the second part:
WITNESSETH, that the party of the first part in
consideration of One (1.00) Dollar, lawful money of the
United States and other good and. valuable consideration here-
inafter mentioned paid by the party of the second part, does
hereby release and ouiteiaim unto the party of the second part
his heirs and assigns forever,
ALL its right, title and interest in and to that
lot or parcel of land, in the Town of Southold, Suffolk
County, State of New York, being a part of that portion of
Fishers Island belonging to the grantor (which portion is
hereinafter called the "Park") lying ?asterly of the following

by the United States, known as the Fort H. G. Wright Military
Reservation, Mount Prospect Tract, on the shore of Block Islan
Sound or the Atlantic Ocean and running thence northerly fol-
lowing the East boundary of the said land of the United States
to the southerly line of East End Road (sometim.s czllad Origin
1 Avenue) and which point is the northeasterly corner of land

shore of Block Island Sound; thence, with the meanders of said

dredths feet, South three degrees nineteen minutes and forty

twenty-seven degrees three minutes and thirty seconds West
four hundred and three and three hundredths feet to a stake;
and thence North fifty-five degrees nineteen minutes and ten
seconds West one hundred and ninety-four and fifty-nine hun-
dredths feet to the place of beginning; containing seven and
eighty-two hundredths acres, more or less.
TOGETHER with all the right, title and interest of
the party of the first part in and to the lands under the
waters of Block Island Sound adjoining said premises.

the land and premises hereby conveyed easements and rights of

other purposes, end for the construction, operation and main-
tmanee of pipe lines or conduits under the surface of said
reservation for my lawful purpose whatsoever, but the grantor
shall bava the right to release the premises above described
