Nineteen Hundred and Forty-nine, BETWEEN Walter P. Allen, residing
in the Town of Hartford, County of Hertford and State of Connectic t,
party of the first part, and Leslia Hart Fenn, residing in the
Town of Hartford, County of Hartford and State of Connecticut,
party of the second part,
WITNESSETH, that the party of the first part, in con-
sideration of One Dollar 01.00) lawful money of the United States
and other valuable considerations, paid by the party of the second
part, does hereby grant and release unto the party of the second
part, her heirs and assigns forever, all that certain tract, place
or parcel of land, with the improvements thereon, heretofore and
sometimes known as the Tower Cottage property, located on Fishers
Island in the Town of Southold, County of Suffolk and State of New
York, bounded and described as follows:
Southerly by Equestrian Avenue about one
hundred twenty-five (125) feet, be the same
more or less; westerly by land formerly of
Helen F. D. Glazier about one hundred eighty-
six (186) feet, be tke same more or less;
northerly by Hay Harbor, also called Little
Hay Harbor; and easterly by land now or
formerly of Morgan, or by a right of way leading
from Equestrian Avenue northerly along said
Morgan land to the shore, about one hundred
seventeen (117) feet, be the same more or less;
excepting, however, such a portion of the land
Included within the above description as lies
at the southerly endof the wharf and as is
described as "SECOND TRACT" in the deed of
Winifred B. Shaw and Melville T. Shaw to said
Helen F. D. Glazier dated March 8, 1921, and
recorded in the La;A Records of Suffolk County,
New York, Liber 1032 of Deeds, Page 348.
