WrrNPSSETH,that the party of the first part,in consideration of Ten Dollars, and other
good and sufficient consideration, 300=9
lawful money-of the United States, paid
by the Party of the second part,does hereby grant and release unto the party of the second part,the heirs or
successors and assigns of the party of the second part forever,
ALL that certain Plot,Piero or parcel of land,�•�+�—+•+--+ situate,
lying and being in the Town of Southold, County of Suffolk and State of New
York, being a part of that portion of Fishers Island belonging now
or formerly to Porter B. Chase and Marlon T. Chase, his wife, (which
portion Is hereinafter called the 'Park") lying easterly of the
following line, viz:
BEGINNING at the southeasterly corner of land owned by the United
States, known as the Fort H. G. Wright Military Reservation, Mount
Prospect Tract, on the shore of Block Island Sound or the Atlantic
Ocean and running thence northerly following the east boundary of the
said land of the United States to the southerly line of East End Road
(sometimes called Oriental Avenue) and which point Is the north-
easterly corner of land of the United States; thence crossing the
East End Road and following the same course as the last to the shore
of West Harbor or Fishers Island Sound; said late or parcel of land
being bounded and described as follows:
BEGINNING at a stone monument situated on the easterly aide of a
road 4o feet wide, said monument being 1157,47 feet east of a point
which is 324,91 feet north of another monument marking the United
States Coast & Geodetic Survey Triangulation Station "East End 20
(which said •East End 2• monument is located on the summit of the
highest hill east of East Harbor on Fishers Island, New York and
lies South 54 mantes west of Latimer Reef Light In Fishers feland
Sound) and running thence northwardly along the easterly side of
said Road (following the aro of a curve to the left whose radius
is 185,66 feet and whose direction at that Point is north 61 degrees
7 minutes 34 seconds west 117,97 feet to a stake; thence still
along the easterly aide of said Road north 7 degrgea 34 minutes
..at 64,00 feet to a stake; thence north 83 degrees 54 minutes
20 seconds east 300.79 feet to the shore of Block Island Sound;
thence with the meanders of said Sound south 20 degrees 28 minutes
20 second 8 east 88.96 feet; south 3 degrees 31 minutes 20 seconds
east 65.12 feet; South 22 degrees 17 minutes 10 seconds east 65.92
feet; south 10 degrees 14 minutes 10 seconds east 73.16 feet and
south 23 degrees 31 minutes west 22,71 feet to a stake; thence
north 82 degrees 47 minutes 40 seconds west 291.80 feet to a
stake; thence north 58 degrees 26 minutes 40 seconds west 105.16
feet to the point or place of beginning.
Together with an easement of ingress to and egress from the
premises herein described over East Had Road out to the nes" L
Lpublic highway.
