HomeMy WebLinkAboutL 4040 P 424 use o S S THIS INDENTURE, made the 5th day of .Burlyy Nineteen hundred and fifty-five, between FISHERS ISLAtlD ESTATES, INC. a Nev York corporation, havin its principal office at lq last 52nd Street, in the City, County and State of New'York, hereinafter sailed the grantorpyarty othe first part, and REYNOLDS duPONT, residing at mmdtsle►f, (ns street or street msaber), Greenville, Delaware, hereinafter -- called the grantee, party of the second part: WITNESSETH, that the party of the first part, in consideration of One hundred Dollars ($100.00), lawful monw of the United States, and other good and valuable considera- tion paid by the party of the second part, does hereby grant and release unto the party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever, The northeasterly part of that lot or parcel of land (hereinafter called "Parcel A"), in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, State of New York, being situate in that portion of Fishers Island belonging to the granter (which portion is hereinafter called the "Park") lying easterly of the following line, vis: bEGINNING at the southeasterly corner of land owned by the United States, known as the P art H. G. Wright Mili- tary Reservation, Mount Prospect Tract, on the shore of block Island Sound or the Atlantic Ocean (as said Tract was constituted prior to the extension thereof by the Ac- quisition of additional lands in condemnation proceedings instituted in 1942) and running thence northerly following the East boundary of the said tract of land of the United States (as same was constituted prior to such extension thereof) to the southerly line of East End Road (sometimes called Oriental Avenue) and which point is the northeast- erly corner of said tract of land of the United States (as same was constituted prior to such extension thereof), thence crossing the East End Road and following the same course as the last to the shore of West Harbor or Fishers I sland Sound; Said Parcel A being bounded and described as follows BEGINNING at a stone monument on the Northwesterly line of a road forty feet wide, said monument being six hundred seventy-one and twenty-three hundredths fact North of a point which is two thousand four hundred eighteen and seventy-one hundredths feet West of another monument mark- ing the U. S.
