HomeMy WebLinkAboutL 6158 P 41 � I --------------------------------------_ In the Matter s �4 yof I � the Dedication of a Certain Improved DEDICATION AND RELEASE Road as a Town Highway in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York,a to be known as Winthrop Drive, L --------------------------------------x WHEREAS application has been made to the Town i Superintendent of Highways of the Town of Southold, County of Suffolk and State of New York, for the dedica- tion of a certain improved road located on Fishers Island as a town highway to be known as Winthrop Drive, and to pass through the lands of the undersigned, - NOW, THEREFORE, the undersigned, owner of the lands included within the said highway right-of-way, does hereby dedicate, release and convey to the said Town of Southold for highway purposes the land described in Exhibit A, attached hereto. AND WE DO CERTIFY that the consideration paid to the undersigned for this dedication and conveyance was the sum of One Dollar. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the undersigned has hereunto duly executed and affixed its seal this /O day y of February � . 0, Ql�HIBIT A YTA Race Point Corporation Description of Winthrop Drive for conveyance to the town of Southold A certain tract or parcel of land for road purposes located at Fishers Island, Town of Southold, County of Suffolk, State of New York, being bounded and described as follows: Beginning at a drill hole in the walk at the intersec- tion of the Southeasterly line of the herein described tract and the Southwesterly line of Equestrian Avenue, said point being 777.88 feet North of a point which is 4452.83 feet West of a monument marking the United States Coast and Geo- detic Survey Triangulation Station "PROS" and thence running South 620 21' West 856.54 feet to a drill hole; then South 650 19' West 120.53 feet to a spike, thence North 860 08' West 215.28 feet to a drill hole; thence South 360 58' Nest 49.05 feet to an iron, thence South 20 26' West 115.36 feet to an iron; thence South 80 22' East 125.66 feet to an iron; thence South 8° 02' West 91.39 feet to asppike; thence South 25° 10' East about 24 feat; thence South 64° 50' West 13.0 feet to an angle in the Northeasterly line of Trumbull Drive; thence along said Trumbull Drive line North 79° n3' West 105.9 feet; thence North 78° 11' East 56.99 feet; thence North 8° 02' East 86.0 feet; thence North 80 22' West 123.25 feet; thence North 2° 26' East 135.62 feet; thence North 36" 58' East 91.60 feet; thence South 860 08' East 192.99 feet to a spike at the intersection of the Northerly line of the herein described tract with the Southwesterly line of Reservoir Road; thence North 830 59' East 53.72 feet; thence North 650 19' East 87.10 feet; thence North 62° 21' East 811.78 feet to the said Southwesterly line of Equestrian Avenue; thence along said Avenue line South 270 34' East 11.34 feet to a monument; thence along said Avenue line South 76° 02' 30" East 58.22 feet to the point of beginning. Being a road 50 feet in width known as Winthrop Drive extending Southwesterly from Equestrian Avenue to Trumbull Drive. Together with the right to use and maintain any drain linea extending Westerly from the above described tract to Silver Eel Cove. Excepting therefrom that portion of the Department of the Navy Ramp Site which extends Westerly from the Westerly curb line of Winthrop Drive. Subject to rights of way for existing water pipes, newer drains and pipes, electrical and telephone poles, lines, equipment and facilities and the rights of utility companies to use, maintain, repair and replace, as the case may be, said pipes, drains, poles, lines, equipment and facilities.
