and State of New York, bounded and described as follows:
BEGINNING at a merestone, which is marked by a drill hole in its top
and set at high water mark on a piece of land known as the "Peninsula"and
on the western side thereof, from which merestone the Church Spire on
Fishers Island bears by compass North seventy-nine and three-quarters
degrees West (north 79-3/40 West), and a rock at high water mark on the
shore, at the extreme end of Hawks Nest Point bears by compass North nine
and one-fourth degrees East (North 9-1/40 East),
Thence from said merestone by compass South forty-two degrees East
(South 420 East) One Hundred Seventy-five (175) feet to a stake; thence at a
right angle to the aforesaid line and by compass South forty-eight degrees
West (South 480 West) Fifty (50)feet to a stake; thence at a right angle to the
last mentioned line and parallel with the first named line, and by compass
North forty-two degrees West (North 420 West), One Hundred Eighty (180) feet
to astake set at high water mark on the easterly shore of Great or West Harbor;
thence northerly by and along the high water mark of said Harbor to the ne re-
stone at the point of beginning.
Being and intended to be the same premises conveyed to Harry O. Hurlburt
and Ruth A. Hurlburt by deed dated January 4, 1933 and recorded in the Suffolk
County Clerk's Office on January 25, 1933 in Liber 1695 of Deeds at page 34.
This deed is intended to convey the one-half interest of Laura M. flurlburt
as tenant in common, as successor to her husband, Harry O, Hurlburt, who
died on July 18, 1962 (Suffolk County Surrogate's Will File No. 263 at page 446).
