c. The work covered by this application may not be commenced before issuance of Building Permit.
d. Upon approval of this application, the Building Inspector will issue a Building Permit to the applicant. Such a permit
shall be kept on the premises available for inspection throughout the work.
e. No building shall be occupied or used in whole or in part for any purpose what so ever until the Building Inspector
issues a Certificate of Occupancy.
f. Every building permit shall expire if the work authorized has not commenced within 12 months after the date of
issuance or has not been completed within 18 months from such date. If no zoning amendments or other regulations affecting the
property have been enacted in the interim, the Building Inspector may authorize, in writing, the extension of the permit for an
addition six months. Thereafter, a new permit shall be required.

Building Zone Ordinance of the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, and other applicable Laws, Ordinances or
Regulations, for the construction of buildings, additions, or alterations or for removal or demolition as herein described. The

As you already know, the repair to your primary Hi-Voltage line to your building was a
temporary fix to get your business baak on line. That primary line is in very poor condition
and needs immediate replacement or It will fall again. To replace that line, L1PA will have
to shut down power to your building so we can trench the driveway and install a new line
from the top of the pole to the transformer,
This project with a full crew will take a little longer than one day. As per our last
conversation, that outage cost you $20,000,00 in lost revenue and an additional
$25,000,00 in product spoilage.
Therefore, in my opinion, It is important that you install that generator we spoke of before
we replaced the damaged line, The generator will keep your store up and running while
we do the emergency repair.

Thank you for the submittal of the amended site plan application referred to above.
Per Town Code section 100-254 (A) the Planning Board (p.B.) reviewed the site plan
application and materials received on November 17, 2003 and the revised submittal of
November 21r2003. The P.B. held a work session on December 1,2003 to review the
amended sit~1>hl1rapplication as a pre-submission conference. The P.B. agreed no
amended site pla,ri. is needed from the site plan known as Main Street Market approved on
June 22, 1981 with this application and reject the amended site plan application.
We are returning the amended site plan application, payment and materials for your
records. .
The decision rendered by the P.B. for this application does not condone any other
changes or deviations from the original site plan approval on June 22, 1981 for the Main
Street Market. Please refer to Town Code section 100-250 applicability, if other changes
of the approved site plan occur.
