ALL that certain plot,piece or parcel of land,with the buildings and improvements thereon erected,situate,
lying and bring in the Town of Southold, County of Suffolk and State of New
York, known and designated as Lot No. 9 on a certain map entitled,
"Map of Orient-by-the-Sea, Section 1" and filed in the Office of the
Clerk of the County of Suffolk on November 21, 1957 as Map No. 2777.
BEING AND INTENDED TO BE the same premises conveyed by Walter Uhl,
Incorporated, to Adele Tierney, the grantor herein, by deed dated
February 8, 1961 in Liber 4946 cp 401.
THE GRANTEES herein, Frederick C. Letson and Christine M. Letson, his
wife, herebelow, affix their signatures to this instrument, evidencing
their agreement to assume and pay the existing mortgages on the pre-
mises described herein, the first of which was made to the Southold
Savings Bank by Walter Uhl, Incorporated, dated October 28, 1960 and
recorded November 1, 1960 in the Suffolk County Clerk's Office in
Liber 3520 at page 559, which said mortgage was assumed simultan-
eously with the conveyance of said premises by Walter Uhl, Incorporated
to Adele Tierney by deed dated February 8, 1961 and recorded February
10, 1961 in the Suffolk County Clerk's Office in Liber 4946, cp 401;
AND MORTGAGE MADE BY Adele Tierney to the Southold Savings Bank dated
the 31st day of May, 1968 and recorded June 10, 1968 in Liber 5392
at page 266, which said mortgage contained a statement consolidating
it with the first mortgage set forth so that the two constituted a
single valid first lien on the premises described therein; on which
the present consolidated principal balance is $14,792.12 with inter-
est paid to the date of this instr»ent.
