Said map being annexed to and a part of a certain deed from George W.
Hallock to Robert H. Preston dated May 20th, 1961 and recorded in the Suffolk
County Clerk's Office on May 23rd, 1961 in Liber 4990 of deeds at page 35.
Intended to be all those premises south of Meadow Road of which Lucius
H. Hallock died seized and additional lands which George W. Hallock subsequently
1purchased and conveyed to Robert H. Preston.
SUBJECT to easements and restrictions of record, if any, and the Ordinances
of the Town of Southold.
SUBJECT, HOWEVER, to the following covenant, to which party of the second
part does agree and which shall run with the land and be binding upon such party,
his heirs or assigns, to wit:
1. To maintain present dike in as good condition as same is at present
south of Meadow Road, or if said party of the second part, his heirs or assigns,
wish to change the location of said dike, it may erect a dike of equal size and
quality of workmanship along the entire length of said premises south of Meadow
Road connecting with high land now or formerly of Percy Douglass, on the West
and with "Dock Property" of George W. Hallock on the East.
BEING AND INTENDED TO BE a portion of the premises conveyed to the
party of the first part by Robert H. Preston by deed dated October 19th, 1961 and
recorded in the Suffolk County Clerk's Office on November 5th, 1962 in Liber 5259
of deeds at page 238..
