There are at present summer cottages on ~ots 10 and 12, which lots a~e 50 by 85, approximately. On the East side of .~!.ldin Lane in the same development there awe also several summer cottages on the same size lots. 2. The ha~shipcreotedis UNIQUE ondisnotshored by all properties alike in ti~e immediate vicinityofthispropertyandinthisusedistrict~cause this application is.made . si~ltaneously with application for other lots in this develepment on the west aide of (toldin Lane, since cottages were built on many lots prior to the enectment of the zoning.ordinance. To require strict compliance on these iota would not be ~n keeping with the deveiopment and would prevent applicant from erecting sufficient income produqing cqtt~ges to Justify ,her investment. 3. The Vario~e would obse~e'the spirit of the Ordinance and wOULD NOT CHANGE THE CHARACTER OF THE DISTRICT because as noted in one above there are several1. cottages onlots of similaw size in this development.
