RE: Major Subdivision Harbor Park Homes SCTM# 1000-97-6-17 and 1000-103-1-20.5 and 20.6 Dear Mrs. Terry: The following resolution was adopted by the Southold Town Planning Board at a meeting held on January 31, 1994: Be it RESOLVED to adopt the bond estimate dated as revised January 5, 1994, and to recommend same to the Town Board. The bond estimate is in the amount of 20,175.00, with an administration fee in the amount of 1,210.00. Please note the following in regard to the above mentioned bond estimate: 1. All required improvements have been installed by the applicant. The improvements have been inspected and have been accepted as satisfactory by James Richter, Engineering Inspector and Raymond Jacobs, Superintendent of Highways. 2. On January 12, 1993 (prior to the installation of the improvements), the Planning Board adopted a bond estimate for the proposed improvements in the amount of $38,850.00, with an administration fee in the amount of $2,230.00. In a report dated May 4, 1993, James Richter, for reasons stated in the report, recalculated the drainage design, resulting in a reduction of the required improvements. In response to a request from the Planning Board to calculate a revised bond estimate based on the revised drainage design, Mr. Richter submitted a revised bond estimate to the Board in a report dated January 5, 1994. Since the administration fee is calculated on the bond estimate, the administration fee was also recalculated and Subsequently reduced. 3. On January 7, 1994, the applicant, unaware that a revised bond estimate had been calculated, submitted check No. 735 from Dalchet corporation in the amount of $2,230.00 to fulfill payment of the administration fee. Since the $2,230 check has been processed by the Town, a refund of $1,020.00 is due to the applicant. Please let me know if you need any additional information in regard to the above. Ray: Lane, # 1000 # 1000 Cutchogue, - 97 - 06 - 103 - 01 New York - 17. - 20~5 As per your request, I have reviewed the drainage design fOr th~ above referenced subdivision. My last report concerning this p"oject indicated that the proposed drainage system was more than adequate to handle the runoff from this subdivision. Recently, the owner of the property, Mr. Chet Orlowski contacted your cf:ice to discuss the possibility of reducing the amount of drainage provided in the original design. It was his opinion that the drainage system design was excessive due to existing site conditions. The original drainage calculations followed the Code criteria to the letter. However, in this case, the property to be developed is relatively flat and its elevation is level with or below the existing Town Road. These existing conditions suggest that the proposed development will not create any additional or substantial runoff that would enter the existing Town ROeld. For this reason, I have recellculated the drainage design and would recommend the following changes: Station Point locations elre telken from existing Drainag~ Design ~ Road Pycfile Pla~ d2t~d 10/1/92.
