I have contacted Mr. Jim Mnnsellof Greenport Utilities and he informs me that the Village does not require any bonds for water main construction in this situation. The installation of thie Water Supply System is a major portion of the overall Construction and development of the Proposed Subdivision and has therefore been included in the Estimate. Also, please advise the developer that it is necessary to obtain a Permit or Waver prior to construction of the Water Supply System within the Town R.O.W. on Youngs Ave. The Highway Department will also require notification at lease 48 hours in advance of any work that is to be done in the Town Road. It will also be necessary to trench the 6" Main under the existing concrete road surface on Youngs Ave. No cutting or degredation of this Road Surface will be permi tted.
