The road section as shown on the drawing prepaired by Roderick Van Tuyl dated June 22, 1989 indicates that the edge of pavement will be on the property line. Typically, this would not be acceptable. (see Town Highway Specifications Drawing # SD-854M-1) However, due to the fact that a 20' R.O.W. had been previously approved, this section shall be considered adequate. In addition to the section, this drawing indicates the installation of 3-8'0 x 8' d. Catch Basins at only one location along the proposed road at station 9+40. My calculations indicate that a total of 10 - 8'0 x 8' d. basins are required to accomodate a 2" rainfall. I would recommend that these Basins be installed in groups of 2 and be located along the proposed road at stations 2+35, 4+70, 7+05, 9+40 and 11+75. I have also enclosed a copy of the Bond Estimate for the proposed construction. If you have any questions concerning the drainage or the estimate please do not hesitate to call. cc: Raymond L.
