Law and the Eminent Domain Procedure Law, I, Thomas C.
Environmental Conservation Commissioner of the State of New York,
have caused to be made and certified an accurate map and
description of the following property which I deem necessary to
be acquired in fee, subject to any easements herein recited, for
the purposes or functions of the Environmental Conservation
Department.

10DU All that tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in
Orient, Town of Southold, County of Suffolk, State of New York,
being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
��rl . BEGINNING at a point on the southeasterly line of the land
lJ� of the State of New York, which point is N. 58" 00 ' 41" E. 40. 20
_ feet from a point on the'easterly line of a private road marking
the division line between the land of the State of New York and
other land of Mary Louise Blank, the coordinate of the point of
beginning on the New York State Plane Coordinate System, Long
land Zone being N. 334,266 . 84, E. 2, 471, 310 .72, and
running thence from said point of beginning N. 58" 00" 41"
E. along the land of the State of New York 352 . 15 feet to a point
in the general line of mean high water as of February 25, 1988 of
Gids Bay;
thence southwesterly, southeasterly and westerly along the
general line of mean high water of Gids Bay and of Pete Neck
Creek to a point in other land of Mary Louise Blank, a tie line
along said general line of mean high water having the following

The bearings as set forth in the above described parcel of
land are referenced to Grid North, New York State Plane
Coordinate System, Long Island Zone.
EXCLUDING the right, privilege and easement of the owner,
her heirs, successors and assigns, to operate, repair and
maintain any private roadway (bridge) , water supply line and
earthen dike located on/or adjacent to said premises and in
connection therewith the right of ingress, egress and regress
across the premises provided however, that nothing herein
contained shall be construed as relieving the owner of the
obligation of securing all necessary approvals of any
governmental agency having jurisdiction including the New York
State Department of Environmental Conservation pursuant to
Article 25 of the Environmental Conservation Law.

and to all ponds, bays, stream, and the land within the beds of

Section3-0305 of the Environmental Conservation Law and the
Eminent Domain Procedure'Law, this map and description of
property to be acquired by the People of the State of New York,
are officially filed in the office of the Environmental
Conservation Department at Albany, New York on1990.
