Mr. Orlowski: Good evening. I'd like to call this meeting to order. The first order
of business is for the Board to set Monday, September 11, 2000, at 6:00 p.m. at
the Southold Town Hall, Main Road, Southold, as the time and place for the next
regular Planning Board Meeting.
Mr. Cremers: So move.
Mr. Edwards: Second.
Mr. Orlowski: Motion made and seconded. All those in favor?
Ayes: Mr. Orlowski, Mr. Caggiano, Mr. Cremers, Mr. Edwards, Mr. Latham.

Mr. Orlowski: 5:30 p.m. - John & Helen Berdinka - This proposed lot line
change is to subtract 2,260 square feet from a 9,325 square foot parcel,
SCTM#1000-142-1-7, and add it to a 7,690 square foot parcel, SCTM#1000-
142-1-8. The property is located on Factory Avenue in Mattituck.
Does anyone here have any questions or comments on this lot line change?

Mr. Cremers: Mr. Chairman, I'll offer the following:
WHEREAS, John and Helen Berdinka are the owners of the properties known
and designated as SCTM#1000-142-1-7 & 8 located on Factory Avenue in
Mattituck; and
WHEREAS, this proposed lot line change is to subtract 2,260 square feet from a
9,325 square foot parcel, SCTM#1000-142-1-7, and add it to a 7,690 square foot
parcel, SCTM#1000-142-1-8; and
WHEREAS, the Southold Town Planning Board, pursuant to the State
Environmental Quality Review Act, (Article 8), Part 617, did an uncoordinated
review of this unlisted action, made a determination of non-significance and
granted a Negative Declaration on July 31, 2000; and
WHEREAS, a final public hearing was closed on said subdivision application at
the Town Hall, Southold, New York on August 21, 2000; and
WHEREAS, the Southold Town Planning Board, pursuant to Chapter 58, Notice
of Public Hearing, has received affidavits that the applicant has complied with
the notification provisions; and
WHEREAS, all the requirements of the Subdivision Regulations of the Town of
Southold have been met; be it therefore
RESOLVED, that the Southold Town Planning Board grant conditional final
approval on the surveys, dated July 8, 1994, and authorize the Chairman to
endorse the final surveys subject to fulfillment of the following condition. This
condition must be met within six (6) months of the resolution.
The filing of new deeds pertaining to the merger of 2,260 square feet
from a 9,325 square foot parcel, SCTM#1000-142-1-7, and adding it to
a 7,690 square foot parcel, SCTM#1000-142-1-8.

Hearings Held Over From Previous Meetings:
Mr. Orlowski: Summit Estates, Section 4 - Section 4 of this major subdivision is
for one 4.3739 acre lot (Lot #33). The property is located off Shipyard Lane in
East Marion. SCTM#1000-38-7-p/o 10 (a.k.a. SCTM#1000-35-8-5.3).
Mr. Latham: Mr. Chairman, I'll offer this:
BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Board hold the final hearing for Summit
Estates, Section 4, open until such time that Conditions Number 3, 4, and 5 of
the approval in regard to the public hearing in accordance with Condition
Number 1 1 of the Declaration of Covenants and Restrictions are fulfilled to the
satisfaction of the Planning Board.

MAJOR AND MINOR SUBDIVISIONS, LOT LINE CHANGES, SET OFF
APPLICATIONS:
Final Determinations:
Mr. Orlowski: Joseph Macari, Suffolk County Water Authority - This lot line
change is to subtract 7,8 acres from a 63.57 acre parcel (SCTM#1000-121-4-
9.1 ) and add it to an adjacent 69.43 acre parcel (SCTM#1000-125-5-5.1). The
remaining 55.77 acre parcel has been sold to Suffolk County through the Safe
Drinking Water Program. The 7.8 acre area has been merged with adjacent land
owned by the Suffolk County Water Authority. The property is located on the
south side of Sound Avenue in Mattituck. SCTM#1000-121-4-9.1 and 125-5-5.1.

Mr. Cremers: Mr. Chairman, I'll offer the following:
BE IT RESOLVED that the Southold Town Planning Board authorize the
Chairman to endorse the final surveys dated September 9, 1999. Conditional
final approval was granted on September 13, 1999. All conditions have been
fulfilled.

to subtract 0.17 of an acre from a 2.60 acre parcel and add it to a 2.89 acre
parcel. The property is located on Reservoir Road, Fishers Island. SCTM#1000-
9-9-29.4 & 29.5.
Mr. Edwards: Mr. Chairman, I'll offer the following resolution:
BE IT RESOLVED that the Southold Town Planning Board authorize the
Chairman to endorse the final surveys, dated January 17, 2000. Conditional final
approval was granted on March 20, 2000. All conditions have been fulfilled.
Mr. Cremers: Second the motion.

Mr. Orlowski: Elizabeth Husband and Gunther Strothe & Lucinda J. Herrick -
This proposed lot line change is to subtract .68 of an acre from a 1.33 acre
parcel ,SCTM#1000-9-11-7.9, and add it to a 3.66 acre parcel, SCTM#1000-9-
11-6, and to subtract .65 of an acre from the same 1.33 acre parcel
(SCTM#1000-9-11-7.9) and add it to a 3.91 acre parcel, SCTM#1000-9-11-7.8.
The property is located on Ocean View Avenue and Heathulie Avenue on
Fishers Island.
Mr. Edwards: Mr. Chairman, I'll offer the following resolution:
BE IT RESOLVED that the Southold Town Planning Board authorize the
Chairman to endorse the final surveys, dated January 3, 2000. Conditional final
approval was granted on May 22, 2000. All conditions have been fulfilled.

Mr. Orlowski: John Tuthill - This proposal is for a clustered set-off of a 0.574
acre lot from an existing 35.918 acre parcel. The parcel is located on the
southwest corner of the intersection of Main Road & Rackett's Court in Orient.
SCTM#1000-17-6-6, 13 & 14.
Mr. Latham: Mr. Chairman, I'll offer this:
BE IT RESOLVED that the Southold Town Planning Board grant a six month
extension of conditional sketch plan approval from September 6, 2000 to March
6, 2001.
