Irving and George Newman.
Dear Supervisor Martocchia:
Pursuant to Resolution of the Southold Town Board,
dated Tuesday, October 24, 1972; whereby the Town Board
approved the amount of $55,000.00 bond as recommended by
the Southold Town Planning Board for roads and improvements
in the Subdivision known as Pettys Bight, located at the
North side Main State Road, Orient, New York, owned and
developed by Irving and George Newman; Please be advised
that in lieu of the Bond as above requested Irving and
George Newman herewith deliver to you Savings Bank Books
which show cash balances on deposit in excess of $55,000.00.
Also delivered to you are withdrawal slips against the
said Savings Account Books.
It is expressly understood and agreed that in the event
Irving and George Newman fail to complete the roads and
improvements recommended by the Town Planning Board and
within the time limit specified by the Town Planning Board
to complete the work; then, and in that event you are
authorized to expend such sums of money out of the savings
accounts for the purpose of complet~ngthe work as recommended
