BE IT REMEMBERED, that at a regular meeting of the Board of Directors of Republic Insurance Company, duly called and held at the
office of the Company in the City of DaUas, Texas, on the 28th day of February, 1967, a quorum being present. the following By-Laws was
duly adopted to become effective February 28, 1967:
ARTICLE XI - APPOINTMENT OF ATTORNEYS-IN-FACT
Appointment of Attorney-in-Fact. The President, or any Executive Vice President, may from time to time, appoint by written
certificates attorneys-in-fact to act in behalf of the Company in the execution of policies of insurance, bonds. undertakings, and other
obligatory instruments of like nature. Such attorney-in-fact, subject to the limitations set forth in their respective certificates of authority shall
have full power to bind the Company by their signature and execution of any such instruments and to attach the seal of the Company thereto.
The President, or any Executive Vice President, or the Board of Directors, may at any time revoke all power and authority previously given to
any attorney-in-fact.

of the Republic Insurance Company, I have compared the foregoing By-Law with the original thereof, as recorded in the Minute Book of the
said Company, and do hereby certify that the same is a correct and true transcript therefrom and of the whole Article XI, of said original
By-Law and that the same is now in full force and effect. Pursuant to said By-Law, George J. McGovern, Thomas 1. Keenan, John F. Knight,
Ralph L. Price, and Marlin F. Perry were duly appointed Attorneys-in-Fact of this Company without limitation as to amount of bond executed
and that said appointment is now in effect.
The above is a true statement of the assets and liabilities of said Company at the close of business December 31,1971 taken from the
books and records of said Company and is prepared in accordance with the statements on file with the Insurance Department of the State of
New York.
The Superintendent of Insurance of the State of New York has, pursuant to Section 327 of the New York Insurance Law (Chapter 882
of the Laws of 1939 of the State of New York, constituting Chapter. 28 of the Consolidated Laws of the State of New York, as amended)

Moved by Justice Demarest, seconded by Councilman Homan, it was
RESOLVED chat a public hearing will be held by the Southold Town
Board at the Supervisor's Office, 16 South Street, Greenport, New
York, at 3:30 P.M. on the 23rd day of April, 1974, in the matter 01
the application of Evert S. Bergen, for a permit under the provision,;
of the Wetlands Ordinance of the Town of Southold for the purfJose 0'
constructing a wood , walkway to the waters edge (Eugene Creek) acros;;
the meadow at 1630 Beebe Drive, Cutchogue, New York.

RESOLVED that the Southold Town Board release the bond of Martul
Wegleicki, Laurel, New York in the amount of $48,000.00 as
recommended by the Southold Town, Planning Board and Superintendent
of Highways for the completion of roads in the subdivision knowr'
as Laurelwood Estates, Laurel, New York.

RESOLVED that Michael Cortese be appointed to the Southold Town
Narcotic Guidance Council to replace Roger Burns.

On motion of Councilman Homan, seconded by Councilman Ricl', it '.vas
RESOLVED that Supervisor Albert M. Martocchia be and he hereby is
authorized to sign a one year contract with Frederick P. Wiedersurl
l\ssociates to maintain that firm as architects for a new tmm hall.

WHEREAS a petition was received from Southold Resins, Inc. requesti,,,)
a change of zone on certain property at Greenport, said petit Lon for
a change of zone from "A" Residential and Agricultural Distri,.t to
"c" Light Industrial District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Clerk of the TaWil of
Southold be and he hereby is directed to transmit this application
to the Planning Board in accordance with Article XVI, Section 1600
of the Building Zone Ordinance of the Town of Southold.
