completion of certain site improvements with respect to the subdivision
known as Homestead Acres. This Letter of Credit is released by the Town

Re: Halrestead Acres
We hereby establish our irrevocable and unconditional Letter of Credit
in the anount of $250,000. in your favor at the request of Premier Builders,
Inc. to guarantee and assure the perfonnance and CClllq:>letion of certain site
improverrents as described below and being the subject of a certain bond dated
February 27, 1985:
Halrestead Acres
This bond in the anount of $250,000. to run for a one year period represents
the estimated cost of the required improvements which includes construction of
highways, drainage and water mains in the subdivision known as Harestead Acres
as set forth in the Planning Board Resolution by the Town of Southold Planning
Board made on January 7, 1985.
It is further agreed that all drafts drawn under this Letter of Credit
will be endorsed as follows: "Drawn on Union Savings Bank, Letter of Credit
No. 58, dated February 27, 1985.
This credit is subject to the Unifonn CUstans and Practice for Docurnenta..ry
Cre"...its fL"{oo by the International d1aJtlber of Ccmnerce. The anount of each draft
negotiated under this credit must, upon negotiation, be endorsed on the reverse
side hereof, and the presentation of any such draft shall be a warranty by the
negotiating bank that such endorserrent has been made.
This Letter of Credit will be in full force until February 27, 1986 and
will be i'\utomatically renewed for successive one-year periods upon the anniversary
of its issue, unless at least 30 days prior to such date or any subsequent anniver-
sary date we notify the Town of Southolcl Attorney at Southold, NY and the Town Plan-
ning Board, Southold, NY in writing, by certified mail, return receipt requested, that
we elect not to so renew this Letter of Credit. Upon receipt by you of such notice

Dear Ms. Terry:
The following resolution was adopted by the Southold Town
Planning Board at a meeting held on Monday, March 26, 1990.
RESOLVED that the Southold Town Planning Board recommend to
the Town Board that they release the Letter of Credit for the
amount of $250,000.00, for the major subdivision of Homestead
Acres.
An interim inspection was conducted by A. Barton Cass,
P.E., of Sidney B. Bowne & Son on June 12, 1989. Since that
inspection both the Planning Board and the Highway
Superintendent have conducted inspections and have concluded
that all is in order for release of the Letter of Credit.
Please contact this office if you have any questions
regarding the above.

Gentlemen:
An Interim inspection inspection was conducted on June 8, 1989.
Present were Mr. Ray Jacobs, Superintendent of Highways, Town of
Southold, Mr. Ray Dean (SBB), and Mr. Cornelius S. Heffernan of this
office.
The following is a list of corrections/completions which must be
addressed. Every attempt was made to make this list complete but other
itemymay arise that will need attention.
j ~vement
1. Correct asphalt at catch basins.
2. Adjust manhole casting (slotted) at south most entrance.
3. Raise water valve castings.
Shoulder Area
1. Remove construction debris, as required.
2. Grade, topsoil and seed, as required.
3. Mow as required.
4. Slope and stabilize bank at south entrance, south side, as
directed.
5. Remove dead tree at south entrance, south side.
6. Plant trees, as required.

RESOLVED that whereas, a formal application for the
subdivision plat entitled "Homestead Acres"

the Suffolk County Planning Commission's resolution of disapproval

The Southold Town Board at their regular meeting held on
February 14, 1984 adopted the following resolutions:
RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold
hereby approves the amount of $700 ,000.00 for a bond for roads
and improvements in the subdivision known as "The Cove Beach"
at East Marion, as recommended and approved by the Southold
Town Planning Board and Town Engineer Lawrence M. Tuthill.
RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold
hereby approves the amount of $250,000.00 for a bond for roads
and improvements in the subdivision known as "Homestead Acres"
at Greenport, as recommended and approved by the Southold Town
Planning Board and Town Engineer Lawrence M. Tuthill.
RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold
hereby accepts Performance Bond in the amount of $340,000.00
as submitted by Golden View Estates, Inc. for roads and improve-
ments in said subdivision located at Laurel, New York, as recommended
by Town Engineer Lawrence M. Tuthill and the Southold Town
Planning Board.
