Dear Mr. Edson:
At a regular meeting of the Southold Town Board
held on October 11, 1977 a resolution was adopted to
release the $13,000.00 passbook being held as a bond
for road and improvements in the subdivision "Highwood
at Bayview".
At the same meeting the Southold Town Board accepted
Highwood Road for dedication as a town highway.
I am herewith returning passbook No. S1456 in the
name of Lefferts P. Edson, in the amount of $13,000.00.

Re: Subdivision Map of "Highwood at Bayview"
Dear Sirs:
The Southold Town Planning Board on the advice of its
engineering consultant has set the bonding requirement
for road construction in the above matter at $13,000.00.
In accordance with the above I submit herewith The
North Fork Bank & Trust Company account No. S 1456 in
the amount of $13,000.00 and in the name of Lefferts P.
Edson. To this book is attached a withdrawal order
payable to the Town of Southold and signed by
Lefferts P. Edson.
I request that the Town Board adopt this pass book in
satisfaction of the bonding requirement and so notify
the Southold Town Planning Board so that its signature
may be affixed to the subdivision map.
