Gentlemen:
This is to certify that the following action was taken
by the Southold Town Planning Board at a regular meeting held
on February 15, 1966:
"On motion by Mr. Grebe, seconded by Mr. Young, it was
"RESOLVED that the Southold Town Planning Board recommend
tofue Southold Town Board a performance bond of $18,000.00 for
the completion of the roads and the watermains in the subdivision
'Eastern Shores at Greenport, Section IV', located at Greenport
New York, owned and developed by H.J. S. Land & Development Corp.
"lIote of the Board: Ayes_ Mr. Wickham, Mr. Moisa,
Mr. Grebe, Mr. Young."

Gentlemen:
We have in our files the letters from Lawrence Tuthill,
P.E., our construction inspector, giving approval to the
roads in EastemShores at Greenport, Section III and Section
IV. The objections raised to the roads and the drainage
on these two sections have now been corrected and found
satisfactory. As far as the Planning Board is concerned,
we are willing that the bond on same be released on Section
III and Section IV, on Eastern Shores at Greenpmrt.

In the matter of subdivision
of land of
H.J.S. LAND & DEVELOPMENT CORP.

TO THE SOUTHOLD TOWN BOARD:
H.J.S. LAND & DEVELOPMENT CORP, applicant
for approval of subdivision map of premises located on
the north side of North Road at Greenport, New York,
in compliance with the requirements of the Southold
Town Planning Board relating to the performance of
road construction, hereby delivers The North Fork
Bank and Trust Company certificate of deposit #2147
in the amount of $18,000.00, payable to the order of
Town of Southold, maturing on August 23, 1966, with
interest at 4%, as surety for the said performance of
the construction of the roads shown on the map of East-
ern Shores at Greenport, Section IV, in accordance with
the regulations and requirements of the Town of Southold
and its highway department, within the two year period
set by the Southold Town Planning Board.

Upon compliance with said requirements as
established and upon the determination of the Superin-
tendent of Highways that compliance has been had in
satisfactory fashion, this pledged security shall be
immediately returned to The North Fork Bank and Trust
Company uncollected. Upon noncompliance, the Town of
Southold may complete the said road construction,
drawing the costs thereof from the security furnished,
returning any balance thereof to the said North Fork
Bank and Trust Company with accounting.

TO THE SOUTHOLD TOWN PLANNING BOARD:
The North Fork Bank and Trust Company hereby
agrees to extend the maturity of the certificate of
deposit hereinabove referred to for periods of six
months each, until February 23, 1968, which shall be
the final maturity date.
