proposed dredging in this environmentally sensitive setting.
Considering the pristine setting for the new dredging which
LS considered a pres~mptively incompatible activity, please

Dear Members:
On behalf of the officers and board members of
the Sebastian Cove Property Owners Association I am
requesting that the board continue to keep a close look
on the Matt-A-Mar-Marina project.
We feel surely the stop work order, although
coming late, is a step in the right direction properly
regulating the growth in Mattituck Inlet particularly
and on the North Fork in general.
It is a shame in such a beautiful area as ours
that aesthetics and impact on the local environment are
not more easily regulated than present laws and codes
allow.
Surely such projects as this affect the lives
of all of us on the inlet.
Sincerely,
IjI,

Southold, New York 11971
Dear Mr. Orlowski:
A meeting was held with the Highway Committee
and myself regarding Sebastian's Cove.
We came to the conclusion that if the developer
will agree to add the additional asphalt surface as
recommended by Lawrence M. Tuthill, P.E. (see attached),
the road would be acceptable for the release of the
bond and dedication if desired.
Respectfully,
