We feel surely the stop work order, although coming late, is a step in the right direction properly regulating the growth in Mattituck Inlet particularly and on the North Fork in general. It is a shame in such a beautiful area as ours that aesthetics and impact on the local environment are not more easily regulated than present laws and codes allow. Surely such projects as this affect the lives of all of us on the inlet. We came to the conclusion that if the developer will agree to add the additional asphalt surface as recommended by Lawrence M. Tuthill, P.E.
