Dear Mr. Olsen:
The following resolution was adopted by the Southold
Town Board at a regular meeting held on February 8, 1977:
"On motion of Justice Suter, seconded by Justice
Demarest, it was
RESOLVED that the bond in the amount of $lOO,~OO.OO
covering roads and improvements in the subdiv\sion
known as Oregon View Estates at Cutchogue, New'York,
owned by Louis Hodor be and hereby is released upon
the recommendation of the Town Engineer, Highway
Superintendent and Highway Committee.
Vote of the Town Board: Ayes: Supervisor Martocchia,
Councilman Rich, Councilman Homan, Justice Suter,
Justice Demarest, Justice Doyen.
This resolution was declared duly adopted."

Re: Preliminary subdivision Plan - Oregon Heights at Nattituck
Plan dated revised April 20, 1987
Dear Hr. Orlowski:
I Ilave reviewed the above plan as follows:
Drainage: A 2" rainfall with coefficients as shown in the
drainage criteria for tile various areas equals the capacity of
the (6) 10 ft. diam., 13 ft. height leaching basins and appears
acceptable. I would recommend that the L.B. 's be spaced 9 ft.
apart (side to side) to obtain more leaching area.
The covenant requiring on site collection and recharge
systems for roof and driveway runoff for each lot is approved.
Also approved, note on plans for lots I and 2, excluding
house construction where slopes exceed 15%.

Gentlemen:
The following action was taken by the Southold Town Planning
Board at a regular meeting held January 24, 1977.
RESOLVED to recommend waiving the construction requirements
pertaining to depth of curbs in the subdivision known as "Oregon
View Estates" and recommending release of the bond based on the
approval of the Highway Superintendent and the Town Engineer.

Enc10s ed herewith please find a report of Edward Bage, the South old
Town Engineer, dated December 29, 1976 indicating that the roads
and drainage system of Oregon View Estates are now complete and
conform to the applicable Southold Town Highway specifications and
approved subdivision map.
Accordingly, I again renew my request that the Town re~e my
client from the Road Performance Bond as quickly a;"possyle.

Gentlemen:
Since my letter to you dated November 23, 1976, my client called
requesting that I point out to the Board that the recommendations
as contained in the letter of Edward Bage dated October 27, 1976,
contained additional items which were not part of the original spec-
ifications, particularly the asphalt valley gutter. Accordingly, my
client does not feel that the release of the Bond of $120,000.00 should
be held up pending the installation of the gutter. However, my client
would be willing to give you a letter to the effect that the gutter and the
other items contained in the October 27 letter will be completed, and
would be willing to post an appropriate reduced Bond pending the com-
pletion of just a few minor items. Accordingly, I respectfully request
your serious consideration to these matters.

Gentlemen:
Please be advised that I have been requested by my client to write to
the Town requesting that the Town agree to reduce the amount of the
Road Performance Bond and/or agree to release the developer from
same in light of the fact that there are only a few minor items to be
co~lEted as per the letter of Edward Bage, dated October 27, 1976.
The present Bond is for $120,000. DO, and my client would be willing
to post a smaller Bond and/or give the Town a letter that the few
items to be finished will be completed this spring.
