affordable housing and environmentally sustainable design
2. Commerical district and/or retail store(s)
3. Walkable areas for East Marion/Town residents
4. Attractive, distinctive appeal
5. Recreational/open space
6. Preservation of open space, natural lands, farmland, and/or other environmentally
sensitive lands through a Transfer of Development Rights program
Time Frame:
Effective immediately, with the goal of completing the first scope of work (negotiating
with landowners) in 4 weeks, the second scope of work (visioning and planning) in an
additional 4 to 8 weeks, and the third scope of work (developing an RFP) in an additional
4 to 8 weeks.
Cost:
The Peconic Land Trust will undertake this project at a cost not to exceed $7,000 and 90
