POLICY: At scheduled Town Board meetings, the attending public is encouraged to briefly address the Town Board relating to agenda resolutions prior to their enactment; the public will also be given time at the conclusion of the regularly scheduled business agenda to address the Board on any given topic. Call to Order. Pledge of Allegiance. Approval of Minutes of the June 19, 2001 Town Board Meeting. Approval of the Audit of Bills of July 31, 2001. V. RESOLUTIONS 533. Establish budget for the 2001 Consolidated Highway Improvement Program. 534. Approve bond resolution appropriating $330,000 to defray costs and expenses of the Suffolk County Water Authority associated with extending the water mains into a portion of Cutchogue. 535. Authorize modification to the Solid Waste Management District 2001 budget for supplies and services. 537. Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute the 2001 Community Development Block Grant Agreements with the North Fork Housing Alliance. 538. Authorize modification to the Fishers Island Ferry District 2001 budget to cover shortfalls in the Terminal Project Line. 539. Appoint Madallava Incardona as part-time Assistant Cook in the Human Resources Department. 540. Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 2001 budget to appropriate insurance funds on the new Police patrol vessel. 541. Approve bond resolution authorizing the second phase of the improvement and embellishment of the new public park and recreational area at Peconic Lane Park. 542. Declare the Town Board lead agency in regard to SEQRA in the matter of the petition of Amerada Hess Corp. for a change of zone. 545. Transmit the petition for change of zone of Amerada Hess Corp. to the Southold Town Planning Board and the Suffolk County Department of Planning for recommendations and reports. 546. Declare the Town Board lead agency in regard to SEQRA in the matter of the petition of Darrin Skrezec for a change of zone. 547. Transmit the petition for change of zone of Darrin Skrezec to the Southold Town Planning Board and the Suffolk County Department of Planning for recommendations and reports. 548. Engage the professional services of John Collins to draft a NYS Clean Water/Clean Air grant application for the Whitaker-Thompson House. 549. Adopt the proposed changes to the Employee Handbook. Authorize and direct the Town Clerk to advertise for bids for the site preparation and construction of a compost pad on the parcel commonly referred to as "the McBride Parcel", SCTM #1000-96-1-2. Engage the professional services of the Peconic Land Trust to perform various services related to the Town's land preservation efforts. Engage the professional services of Frank Isler for legal representation in the cases ofMueller v. ZBA; and Cashy v. Gerard P. Goehringer, ZBA Chairman. Authorize Assistant Town Attorney Wilson to attend the NYS Bar Association Municipal Law Section's Fall Meeting on September 28-30, 2001 in Ottawa, Canada. VI.
