Dear Mr. Tedeschi:
The following action was taken by the South old Town Planning
Board at a regular meeting held June 12, 1979.
WHEREAS, a formal application for the approval of a subdivision
plat entitled Minor Subdivision of Peter Sledjeski was submitted
to the Planning Board on April 16, 1979, and an application fee of
$30 was paid on April 18, 1979, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the said subdivision
application and plat at the Town Hall in Southold, New York, on May
8, 1979 at 7:30 p.m., and
WHEREAS, the requirements of the Subdivision Regulations of
the Town of Southold have been met by said subdivision plat and
application.
Now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the application of Peter
Sledjeski for approval of said subdivision plat prepared by Roderick
Van Tuyl, P.C. and dated May 17, 1979 be approved and that the
Chairman of the Planning Board be authorized to endorse approval on
said subdivision plat.
Before issuance of certificate of occupancy for lots 2 and 3
the right-of-way must be improved to the specifications of the
Planning Board inspector.

Date: June 12, 1979
Pursuant to Article 8 of the Environmental Conservation Law
State Environmental Quality Review and 6NYCRR Part 617, Section
617.10 and Chapter 44 of the Code of the Town of Southold, notice
is hereby given that Southold Town Planning Board as lead agency
for the action described below, has determined tha~ the project
will not have a significant effect on the environment.
DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTION
The minor subdivision of Peter Sledjeski is a three-lot
residential subdivision on 3.616 acres at Orient in the Town of
Southold, New York.
The project has been determined not to have a significant
effect on the environment for the following reasons:
An environmental assessment has been submitted which
indicated that no significant adverse effects to the
environment were likely to occur should the project
be implemented as planned;
The NYSDEC has no objection to the project as it does
not appear that the project lies within the jurisdiction
of the Tidal Wetlands Act due to distance from tidal
water and elevation;
The Suffolk County Department of Health Services has
stated that it is expected that the conditions will
be suitable for water supply and sewage disposal;
The project will meet all requirements of the Code of
the Town of Southold Subdivision of Land regulations.

Bitsis -- This project may lie within State jurisdiction
under the Tidal Wetlands Act as it appears to lie within
300' of tidal wetlands. We note that each of the lots
meets the minimum 40,000 sq. ft. requirements. We will
make further review on receipt of application.
2. Minor subdivision of Peter Sledjeski, Orient -- It does not
appear that this project lies within the jurisdiction of the

Dear Mr. Tedeschi:
The following actions were taken by the Southold Town Planning
Board at a regular meeting held March 27, 1979.
RESOLVED to over-ride the condition of the Suffolk County
Planning Commission as regards the subdivision of Peter Sledjeski
in that a 50 foot right-of-way be provided for the following
reason. The Stillo minor subdivision is an approved pre-existing
minor subdivision in the Town of Southold with a 30 foot right-of-
way and it would make no sense to run a 50 foot right-of-way into
a 30 foot right-of-way.
RESOLVED to grant approval to the sketch map of the minor
subdivision of Peter Sledjeski subject to a 15 foot right-of-way
being shown on the westerly side of the property for Rose and
securing a curb cut from the State of New York.
I am enclosing an application for you to complete. Return
to me together with the fee in the amount of $30 and I will present
this matter to the Board for a date for a public hearing.

Dear Mr. Wickham:
The Suffolk County Planning Commission at its regular meeting August 6, 1975,
reviewed the above captioned proposed subdivision plat referred to it pursuant to
Section 1333, Suffolk County Charter. After due study and deliberation, it did take
the following action:
The Map of Minor Subdivision of Land owned by Peter Sledjeski, as submitted,
was approved subject to the following conditions:
1. Vehicular access to Lots 2 and 3 shall be restricted to the right-of-way.
2. All storm water falling on or flowing across the tract shall be contained
within the tract by suitable drainage structures.
3. Since the right-of-way will also serve the two adjoining tracts of land to the
north and the possibility exists that these tracts will be subdivided, necessi-
tating the need for conversion of the right-of-way to a town road, provision
shall be made for this possible conversion by increasing the right-of-way
width to fifty feet, by providing two short radius curves at Main Road, and
by providing a horizontal curve having a minimum center-line radius of 200
feet at the bend in the right-of-way.
