POLICY: At scheduled Town Board meetings, the attending public is encouraged to briefly address the Town Board relating to agenda resolutions prior to their enactment; the public will also be given time at the conclusion of the regularly scheduled business agenda to address the Board on any given topic. PUBLIC NOTICES New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Notice of Complete Application of James Greenfield to subdivide a 2.9 acre parcel in the Coastal Management area into two lots at 222 4th Street, Greenport, Southold Town on Greenport Harbor. M. to 4:30 P. M. Town Board Work Session. 1. Winery guidelines 2. Outside consultants for Planning Department (10:15 a.m.) 3. Refund request for 2% real estate transfer tax (9:45 a.m.) 4. Proposed local law re Noise Control 5. Request for consideration of zone change Special Note: At the start of the Town Board Meeting the Supervisor will invite the public to speak on the following resolutions. V. RESOLUTIONS 510. Authorize and direct that Land Preservation Department Personal Services expenses shall be a legal charge to the Community Preservation Fund, and that those employee benefits shall remain a legal charge to the General Fund Whole Town, except for Social Security which shall be a legal charge to the Preservation Fund. Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 2001 budget and the Community Preservation Fund 2001 budget to reflect resolution #510. Contract with the Suffolk County Water Authority to drill wells, construct a pump station and install water mains in order to provide water service to a certain area of Cutchogue. Authorize modification to the Highway Fund Part Town 2001 budget. Accept, with regret, the resignation ofRichart Norklun from the position of Custodian. 511. 512. 513. 514. Accept the resignation of Alexandria Lawson as a 2001 Beach Attendant. Grant permission to Det. Beth Dzenkowski to attend the New York Police Juvenile Officers Association Annual Training Conference August 26-31,2001 in Lake Placid. Reappoint members to the Land Preservation Committee. Authorize modification to the Fishers Island Sewer District 2001 budget. Authorize Supervisor Cochran to sign 2001 grant applications for various projects under the EPA and Clean Water/Clean Air Bond Act. Engage the services of persons to be employed by the Fishers Island Ferry District to operate the Fishers Island Community Theatre for the 2001 season. Authorize the dedication of certain roads situated in Mattituck known as Gabriella Court, Teresa Lane, and Tabor Road, and give consent to the Highway Superintendent to make an order laying out the aforesaid highways. Authorize modification to the Fishers Island Ferry District 2001 budget. Authorize and direct the Town Clerk to advertise for the position of School Crossing Guards. Authorize and direct Island Group Administration to pay a past due medical bill, which bill exists due to an insurance transition. Appoint Elizabeth DeReeder as a part time volunteer at the Day Care Center, Human Resource Center. Set July 31st, 2001 at 7:05 p.m. as the time and place for a public hearing regarding No Parking at certain times on Jernick Lane and Oaklawn Avenue, Southold, NY. Refund of Community Preservation Funds paid by Suzanne M. Egan in the amount of $8630.00. Set July 31st, 2001 at 7:10 p.m. as the time and place for a public hearing regarding A Local Law in relation to Noise Control. Engage the professional services of Frank Isler for representation in Constantine Ioannou v. Southold Town Planning Board Southold Town Board Meeting Agenda - July 17, 2001 Page 4 530.
