Dear Mr. Kapell:
The following actions were taken by the Southold Town
Planning Board on Monday, December 18, 1989.
RESOLVED that the Southold Town Planning Board do an
uncoordinated review, declare the Planning Board lead agent, and
as lead agent, under the State Environmental Quality Review Act,
grant a Negative Declaration.
The following motion was made and adopted:
WHEREAS, Athanasios Spinthourakis, is the owner of the property
known as the Blue Dolphin Motel located on the Main Road at East
Marion; and
WHEREAS, a formal application for the approval of this site plan '
was submitted November 8, 1989; and
WHEREAS, the Southold Town Planning Board pursuant to the State
Environmental Quality Review Act, (Article 8) , Part 617 Title
6NYCRR declared itself Lead Agency and issued a Negative
Declaration on December 18, 1989; and
WHEREAS, all the requirements of the Site Plan ordinance have
been met; and
be it therefore;
RESOLVED that the Southold Town Planning Board approve the final
maps dated October 19, 1989, with the following conditions:
Landscape screening must be placed on the north and east
side of the pool to place a visual barrier to residences
north of the pool prior to the issuance of a Certificate of
Occupancy.
RESOVLED that the Chairman be authorized to sign the site plans
onto which the aforementioned condtions have been attached.
The Planning Board Chairman endorsed the maps at the
meeting. Enclosed please find a copy of the endorsed map for
your records.

Dear Mr. Kapell:
The application fee that was submitted with the
above-referenced site plan was incorrect.
The fee for an amended site plan is $150. 00 plus 0.25 (two
and five tenths cents) per square foot of building area. Under
our Town Code, a swimming pool and surrounding deck are
considered a building. The site plan is not clear, but the area
encompassed by the pool fence appears to be 58 ' X 33 ' . This is
equivalent to 1914 square feet. The additional fee would be 1914
x . 025 = $47. 85. A check or money order for the additional
amount is needed before Planning staff can begin processing this
application.
