Dear Ms. Daley,
An inspection of your property was made on March 13, 1998, in regard to
the above waiver request.
Before the Board can proceed with the waiver request the following must
be accomplished:
1. A gravel parking space with bumper stops for five guests and
one Inn Keeper must be shown on your sketch.
2. One of the above parking spaces must be a paved handicapped
parking space 13' by 20' located next to the Inn entrance. A
handicapped ramp to the Inn entrance must be installed.

Following my discussion with Ed Forrester of the Town of Southold Building
Department, I am applying for parking approval at 8985 Main Road.
I presently run Quintessentials, an approved 3-bedroom Bed and Breakfast at the above
address. Following discussions with the office of the Zoning Board, I meet the code
requirement for Boarding Houses and Tourist Homes under HB Zone Section IOO-9IA3.
Using the guidelines of the Zoning Code, I plan to increase the parking area to five (5)
spaces, one for each guest room- as indicated on the attached plan.
