Dear Mr._Latham:
The following action was taken by the Southold Town Planning
Board, Monday, February 23, 1987.
RESOVLED that the Southold Town Planning Board, following
a field inspection, approve the sketch map of the minor subdivision
of Latham Farms, Inc. located at Orient, for 3 lots on 7.973
acres, survey dated January 23, 1987: subject to:
1. ReceipT. of amended surveys indicating the building
envelopes on the lots.
Would you please forward six (6) surveys amended as per the
above condition and to include the items listed on the enclosed
list for our referral to the County Planning Commission.
When you have received the endorsement of the Suffolk
County Department of Health Services, pursuant to Article
6, please submit them to our office and we wil ochedule a
public hearing on this matter.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact

OUTLINE OF PROCEDURES FOR
MINOR SUBDIVISIONS
~submit application and surveys with all other required information
2. Placed on agenda for the Board to review and set for a field
inspection.
3. Board to make a field inspection
4. Placed on agenda, Board to make recommendations or take action on
sketch plan.
5. If sketch plan approval granted, six copies of final map are submittec
Board declares itself lead agency, (State Environmental Quality
Review Act) and grants negative declaration.
6. Planning Board makes referrals to County Planning Commission.
7. Applicant applies to the Suffolk County Health Department.
8. When applicant receives approval from the Health Department, three
surveys with their endorsement submitted to Planning Board.
9. Public hearing is set.
10. Public hearing, then within 45 days Board makes final determination.
