Bituminous pavements not to be applied to wet pavements or when ambient temp is below 40 degrees. Construction limits shall be May 1 - Nov 1. 1. Bituminous material distributor shall have an accurate~measuring bitumeter, an indicator showing pump output in gallons per minute and full circulation spray bars. 2. Aggregate spreader capable of spreading 10' in one pass at variable widths. Spreader to be self- propelled and have dual operator stations. 3. Pneumatic tired rollers shall be required for compacting the surface treatment. 1. Schim mix asphaltic concrete to be applied at the discretion of the highway superintendent Potholes, settled areas, broken areas, truing and leveling as directed. 2. Asphaltic concrete areas shall be fog sealed with same bituminous material selected for the project at .01 gallon per square yard. 3.
