Gentlemen:
Relative to your letter of April 21st
concerning the amended map of the minor sub-division
for Ollie Overton, a copy of which is enclosed, we
would make the following explanation for the correction
of said map since its original submission to your Board.
The first correction came about when we found
that the easterly line of lots 1 & 4 did not continue
straight through, but actually had an 8.92 foot jog in
it. The second correction was required because the
~rantor had contracted to convey a specific frontage
(188.92 feet) and the map was amended to reflect this
fact.
Trust the above clears up any questions you
may have had concerning this map.

Dear Mr. Van Tuylt
,~t a regular meeting of the Southold Town Planning Board held
,on April 20, 1971, the Planning Board was presented with a
-corrected map of the approved minor subdivision of Ollie OVerton,
property located at north side of Soundview Avenue, east side Of
Horton Lane, and south side of lIIajor's Path, Southold, New York.
The map which was approved by the Planning Board and signed by
the Chairman is dated November 25, 1970. Since that date you
have submitted two (2) corrected maps. The second map is dated
.March 31, 1971 and the third map is dated April 7, 1971.
,~s you have not submitted an explaination for the correction of
the original map, and the fact that you have submitted two (2)
corrected maps further complicates the situation, the Planning
Board will require a letter or statement of explaination from
you before apprOVing a revision of the original approved map.
The next regular meeting of the Planning Board will be held on
May 13, 1971. Please submit your statement of explaination on
or before that date.
