The Suffolk County Department of Health Services has
indicated its agreement with the lead agency designation.
It has reviewed the project and finds that the area has a
history of poor soils which may affect the installation of
a septic system.
The project will meet all the requirements of the Code
of the Town of Southold Subdivision of Land Regulations .

Re: Minor Subdivision of Vincent Guarnaschelli , Arshamomaque
Dear Mr. Raynor:
As requested, we have reviewed the above referenced property for water sup-
ply and sewerage disposal conditions. It should be noted that this area
has a history of poor soils (clay) and a limited water supply. A satisfac-
tory test well and test holes would normally be required prior to approval .
Very truly yours,

Gentlemen:
Enclosed find completed short Environmental Assessment Form
and copy of the map of the minor subdivision of Vincent Guarnaschelli
located at Arshamomaque. Arthur Ciuffo, 84 Daly Road, E. Northport,
New York, is the agent for the developer.
This project is unlisted and an initial determination of
non-significance has been made. We wish to coordinate this
action to confirm our initial determination in our role of lead
agency.
May we have your views on this matter. Written comments
on this project will be received at this office until May 8,
1981 . We shall interpret lack of response to mean there is no
objection by your agency in regard to the State Environmental
Quality Review Act.

Dear Mr. Guarnaschelli:
The Planning Board reviewed your map at its last regular meeting
and had some difficulty determining exactly what you want to do. It
was my understanding that you wanted to divide the whole property into
two lots - one on the east and one on the westerly portion. The map
shows this but also shows a northerly and southerly division.
Even though the property was inquired in two deeds, because of
the fact that the properties are owned in the same name they are deemed
merged and are, in fact, one piece of proerty.
Please let Mr. Van Tuyl know exactly what you want to do and have
him draw up the imps in that fashion for presentation to the board.
Yours truly,
Muriel Tolman, Secretary
Southold Town Planning Board
