Dear Mr. Ruch:
We have reviewad the plan for your minor subdivision and our only concern
is the elevation of Lot No. 1. It appears that the front portion of this lot
will have to be filled so as to raise the elevation back to the building line
to an elevation of at least 8 feet above ground water or mean high water. If,
as yOu proposed, this lot is sold together with lot No. 2, as one b~ilding plot
then no fill will be required if the house is properly located on the higher
ground.
Public water exists on Middle Road, and therefore, it will be required
that public water be provided to each house built in this tract.
Mr. Howard Terry, Southold Town Building Inspector has furnished us a let-
ter stating that yon can fill your land if needed as long as you don'~$z fill be-
low the high water mark. If yon will furnis.h us with a statement as to your
intentions on lot No. 1, we will then be able to approve your minor subdivision.
Please submit 6 copies of the map together with 2 applications (blue forms)
