As mentioned in Valerie Scopaz's letter of December 18, 1997, the Planning Board office has one file for Driftwood Cove (SCTM# 1000-46-1-31.1). As Ms. Adams noted, the Planning Board's file does not contain a copy of a site plan for Driftwood Cove. In response to Ms. Adams' December 26, 1997, correspondence, I searched the Tax Assessors' office and found a site plan for Driftwood Cove. The site plan is dated April 26, 1973, \\ith a revision date of September 17, 1973. The site plan is available at the Tax Assessors' office. Addtionally, the file shown me specifically refers to a site plan (this seems to reference a matter of a chan~e re parking) . Y,inimally, I want the Board to locate that site plan or explain why it cannot. Gentlement In reference to the above captioned property, I would like to request that the Planning Board revise the approved site plan to eliminate the perimeter plantings on the west, south, and east side of the property and approve the stockade fence that is now in place in its stead. As I mentioned to the Board, around July 18, 1977 when I put up the fence, I needed to enclose the complex into its own environment and didn't feel that plantings would break away from the unkept field to the west, the railroad to the south, and Ninth Street to the east. Ed Hinderman was at the complex last week going over the details of the things necessary to be completed for the Building Department. At that time we discussed the southerly parking lot yet to be completed. There are eight apartments that have doorways facing this area and the plan calls for paving for a lot more parking than necessary. Before I get Corazinni to pave, I'm wondering if this area could be made smaller to fit the actual usage. I do believe that a smaller lot will still fit within the parking to apartment ratio of the zoning code. I believe that you would agree that the complex is well run, well kept, and an asset to the community. That the spirit of what the Planning Board requested has been met or even exceeded. An approval of these revisions would be much appreciated. , . . .
