MINUTES OF THE MEETING
OF THE
BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE
FISHERS ISLAND FERRY DISTRICT
Oct. 23, 1973
A special meeting of the Board of Commissioners was called by the Chairman
and held in the office of the Ferry District Oct. 23, 1973 at 2:00 P.M.. Present
were Commissioners Doyen, Eclmonds, Horell, and W. C. Sinclair, Mgr., Mr. Bert
Fisher wa~ also present. Absent were Commissioners Baldwin and Foyle. The Bids
received for insurance were opened at 2:10 P.M. and were as follows:

Riehle Company
Price McMann Agency
Allen Kernan & McKown

Riehle Comrany was a test bid and as such was made with the idea of retracting
same bid. General discussion ensueclon the bids received.
The following resolution was introduced by the Chairman and adopted by the
unanimous affirmative vote of the Board of Commissioners present as follows:

WHEREAS Mrs. Elizabeth McCloskey has r~signed her position as Reservationist
for this District
AND WHEREAS Mrs. Lillian J. M. 3ullock, of Fishers Island, New York, has applied
for this position
AND WHEREAS Mrs. Lillian J. M. Bullock is eminently qualified for this position
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED' that Mrs. Lillian J. M. Bullock be engaged as a
Reservationist and shall be compensated at the rate of $3.e. per hour and shall
work ten (11) hours per week as needed
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said appointment shall be effective Nov. 1, 1973.
