MINUTES OF THE MEETING
OF THE
BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE
FISHERS ISLAND FERRY DISTRICT
Nov. 7, 1973
A speel_l meeting of the Board of Commissioners was called by the Chairman
and held in the office of the Fishers Island Ferry District Nov. 7, 1973 at 1:11
P.M.. Present were Commissioners Doyen, Morell, Foyle, Edmonds, Baldwin, and
W. C. Sinclair, Mgr-Sec.. Motion by Commissioner Baldwin and seconded by
Cemmissioner Morell that Vouchers # 315 through # 343 inclusive in the amount
of S17,~31.31 be paid with the e~ception that Voucher # 342, Alfred S. Bicknell,
in the amount of $13,12'.10 be reduced by the amount of S945~.11 pending re-
ceipt of Labor Cost figures from said Alfred S. Bicknell, showing his l.bor
costs during that period while the Mystic Isle was at the Thames Shipyard being
repowered~ Motion unanimously carried. The Chairman was directed to contact
the Supervisor regarding the holding back of said $9450.... The Board directed
that the Manager add to the specifications of the haul out of the Olinda the
following:
Wire brush and paint all forward holds if necessary.
Motion by Commissioner Foyle and seconded by Commissioner Morell that
subject to ,the approval of the Town Board of the Town of Southold that the M/V
Olinda be put out for Bid to do all the necessary work thereon as per specifi-
cation. prepared ,by the Manager. ~iotion unanimously carried. Chairman Doyen
then stated that the District will receive a check from the L. C. Foyle and Son
Company in the amount of S1,0'0." to 'payoff freight charges. Motion made to
..~ourn and unanimously carried at 2:4'P.M..
