Tentative plans call for this to he done in approximately four days. L.... Wilcox stated that he realizes that his bid for the Mystic Isle operation ~... too low and stated that he put a high bid on the Olinda to r~cover his ~'l"lIell. Chairman Baldwin stated that we have twe choices either reject all bida er give to the low bidder namely A. Chap1aaki. Cemm. Foyle aaid we ahou1d continue to run the vessel ouraelvea. Comm. Edmonds agreed with thia. Cemm. Grebe aaid it would net be fair to ask fer new bida. Cemm. Doyen atated that we aheu1d net bid the contract out a~ain but ..eu1d stick with our ewn crew. Metion by Cemm. Grebe and seconded b:y Cemm. Fo:y1e tha t we re ject all bida. 'Metien unmimoua1y carried. Metien bv Cem~. Edmonda and seconded hy Comm. Foyle that we continue to eperate the DDINDA ourselves. Motion unanimously carried. Comm. Doyen asked hew l.n~ per year should we run it. Ch. Baldwin aaid 6 months. The Beard a~ree. to eperate the Olinda fer the 6 month peried May through October unless ..ether use if !ound fer the vessel. Comm. Foyle stated that the crew of the Olinda aheuld be told this. A request from R. Waddin~ton, Jr. waa read requesting permission to have a garden on the Ferry District preperty. The Board denied this request. A request from R. Waddington, Jr. was read requesting the Board to process his bill for the theatre painting. The Board denied this requeat. The Board dis.ussed .harter prices tor the Olinda as regards operations beyond cur repular operating area. The Board agreed to charge $75 per hour as leng as engines are running and $25 per hour waiting time. Comm. Doyen asked about the theatre operation by R. King. Motion by Cemm. Grebe and seconded by Comm. Foyle that we operate the theatre ourselves. Motion unanimously carried. The Board directed the Manager to contact the G & G Vendamatic Corp. to put a candy machine i he theatre. Motion made to adjurn and unanimously carried at 8:05 P.M. W. C. Sin.lair, ~.-S.c.
