Dear Mrs. Richards:
The fOllowing action was taken by the Southold Town Planning
Board at a regular meeting held on June 22, 1981.
RESOLVED to approve conditions numbered one (1) through six (6)
and condition number eight (8) of the Suffolk County Planning Com-
mission. Condition number seven (7) should not be approved due to the
fact that it is unnecessary to revise the zone district in lot two (2).
Enclosed please find a copy of these conditions so that you may
have Mr. Van Tuyl prepare a final copy of your plat. When these six
(6) copies are returned to us we will resolve to have the chairman
approve and sign these maps. After this is done you may file your
covenants and restrictions.

The fOllowing action was taken by the Southold Town Planning
Board at a regular meeting held April 27, 1981.
RESOLVED that whereas, a formal application for the approval of
a subdivision plat entitled Minor Subdivision of Genevieve L.
Richards was submitted to the Planning Board on March 6, 1981, and
an application fee of $50 was paid on March 6, 1981, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the map of said
subdivision at the Town Hall, SouthOld, New York, on April 6, 1981
at 7:30 p.m., and
WHEREAS, the requirements of the Subdivision Regulations of
the Town of Southold have been met by said subdivision plat and
application,
Now, therefore, be it RESOLVED that the application of
Genevieve L. Richards for approval of said subdivision plat prepared
by Roderick Van Tuyl be approved and the chairman be authorized to
endorse approval on said subdivision plat subject to the consideration
of the conditions of the Suffolk County Planning Commission.

Dear Mr. Raynor:
The Suffolk County Planning Commission at its regular meeting On June 3, 1981,
reviewed the proposed subdivision plat entitled, "Minor Subdivision ..: Genevieve L.
Richards", referred to it pursuant to Section 1333 of the Suffolk County Charter.
After due study and deliberation it resolved to approve said map subject to the
fOllowing eight conditions deemed necessary to help preserve the traffic safety and
carrying capacity of Main State Road and to help preserve the natural and aesthetic
attributes of Mill Creek:
1. All stormwater runoff created by the development and improvement of the
tract or any of its lots shall be retained within the site by adequate
drainage structures so that it will not flow into the right-Of-way of the
state road or is discharged into Mill Creek.
2. There shall be established along the easterly side of Mill Creek a 50 foot
wide conservation easement or buffer.
3. No sanitary disposal facility shall be installed or constructed within 100
feet of Mill Creek and the upland edge of any tidal meadow along the edge
of the creek.
4. No major structure shall be located within 100 feet of Mill Creek.
5. No lot may be subdivided or changed in any manner at any future date unless
authorized by the Southold Town Planning Board.
6. Approval of this subdivision by the Town Planning Board shall be made sub-
ject to the meeting of the standards and requirements of the Suffolk County
Department of Health Services.

7. The layout of the subdivision shall be revised to create a unified Lot 2
(not divided by a right-of-way) to provide Lot 1 with adequate access to
the state road, and to insure that residential property is not used for
commercial purposes.
8. The above conditions shall be recorded in the office of the County Clerk
as covenants and restrictions on or prior to the granting of approval of
the subdivision.
The Commission also offers the fOllowing comment On the map for your use and
consideration:
Concurrent with consideration of this subdivision the Town Planning Board should
initiate a change in the present location of the zoning boundaries so that these
boundaries will coincide with existing lot lines. Such a change will eliminate po-
tential problems arising from parcels lying in two zoning districts.

RESOLUTION NO. 3 - OCTOBER I, 1980
At the regular meeting of the Suffolk County Planning Commission held on Wednes-
day, October I, 1980, Commissioner Shepard moved for the adoption of the following
resolution, seconded by Commissioner Gillispie. The vote was unanimous: 10 ayes.

plats to the Suffolk County Planning Commission, and
the Suffolk County Planning Commission is required to review certain
proposed subdivision plats in accordance with Article XIII, Section
1333, of the Suffolk County Charter, and
the Suffolk County Planning Commission is required to set forth rules
and regulations to govern Commission. proceedings in accordance with
Article XIII, Section 1308, of the Suffolk County Charter, and
the Suffolk County Planning Commission has promulgated its rules and
regulations in "Suffolk County Department of Planning Informational
Bulletin No.8", and
the Suffolk County Planning Commission has found after due study and
deliberation that some of its requirements, specifically, total area
of the parcel, the area of each lot, and sufficient data to readily
determine the location, direction, and length of all properties,
boundaries, street lines, and lot lines, for a map of a minor sub-
diviSion require clarification, Therefore Be It
RESOLVED, That the Suffolk County Planning Commission will consider a map of a
minor subdivision as acceptable and meeting its requirements if the
map:
1. Shows the property being subdivided in its entirety and the map
contains sufficient data to readily determine the location of the
property.

2. Is drawn to a suitable scale that is not smaller than 1:2,400

subdivided.

RESOLVED to approve the sketch map of the minor subdivision
:)f Genevieve L. Richards located at Arshamomaque, said map dated

I will now need the application, short environmental assess-
ment form, letter re grading and so forth for the SuffOlk county
Planning Commission, legal description of the whole piece of
