Dear Mr. & Mrs. Dickerson:
The following took place at a meeting of the Southold Town Planning Board on
Monday, May 12, 1997.
The final public hearing, which was held at 7:30 p.m., was closed.
The following resolution was adopted:
WHEREAS, Chester M. Dickerson, Parker E. Dickerson and Betsey B. Dickerson
are the owners of the property known and designated as SCTM# 1000-55-2-9.3
and 9.4, located on the east side of Young's Ave. in Southold; and
WHEREAS, this proposed set-off is to set off a 1.844 acre parcel from an
existing 20.9955 acre parcel, on which the development rights have been sold to
the Town on 19.1515 acres; and
WHEREAS, the Southold Town Planning Board, pursuant to the State
Environmental Quality Review Act, (Article 8), Part 617, declared itself lead
agency and issued a Negative Declaration on December 23, 1996; and
WHEREAS, the final public hearing was closed on said subdivision application
at the Town Hall, Southold, New York on May 12, 1997; and

WHEREAS, the Southold Town Planning Board, pursuant to Chapter 58, Notice
of Public Hearing, has received affidavits that the applicant has complied with
the notification provisions; and
WHEREAS, all the requirements of the Subdivision Regulations of the Town of
Southold have been met; be it therefore
RESOLVED, that the Southold Town Planning Board approve and authorize the
Chairman to endorse the final surveys dated February 11, 1997.
Enclosed please find a copy of the map which was endorsed by the Chairman.
The mylar maps, which were also endorsed by the Chairman, must be picked up
at this office and filed in the office of the County Clerk. Any plat not so filed or
recorded

Applications
Suffolk County's Current financial situation has led the legisla-
ture to adopt Resolution #809-1991 which authorizes fees for certain
actions and applications submitted to the offices of the Suffolk County
Planning Co~ission.
As of January 1, 1992, zoning and subdivision actions and
applications requiring significant review will be subject to a $50 fee
for each zoning action and $25 per lot for each subdivision application.
Actions on a Town or Village motion will be exempted from the fees.
Please notify all applicants subject to County review of the requirement
of County processing fee. This office will bill the applicant directly
once the need for significant review is determined.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Dickerson:
The following took place at a meeting of the Southold Town Planning Board
held on Monday, December 23, 1996:
WHEREAS, the development rights on Lot 2 have been sold to the Town; and
WHEREAS, the owners of the subject parcel wish to set-off the 1.844 acre
parcel on which the development rights remain;
be it therefore RESOLVED that the Southold Town Planning Board, acting
under the State Environmental Quality Review Act, do an uncoordinated
review of this unlisted action. The Planning Board establishes itself as Lead
Agency, and as Lead Agency makes a determination of non-significance and
grants a Negative Declaration.
Sketch plan approval is conditional upon submission of final maps within six
months of the date of sketch approval, unless an extension of time is
requested by the applicant, and granted by the Planning Board. The final
maps, six (6) paper prints and two (2) mylars must contain a current stamp
of Health Department approval and must be submitted before a final public
hearing will be set.

Reasons Supporting This Determination:
An Environmental Assessmem Form has been submitted and reviewed, and it was
determined that no significant adverse effects to the environment were likely to occur
should the project be implememed as planned.
The applicant will have to comply with the requirements of the Suffolk County Sanitary
Code (SCSC) and all relevant standards of water supply and sewage disposal systems for
the one developable lot. Design and flow specification, subsurface soil conditions and site
plan details will have to be approved by the Suffolk County Department of Health
Services (SCDHS). This impact is not considered significant due to the anticipated project
compliance with established requirements of the SCSC and SCDHS and the required
relevant permits.
