Subdivision proposal at Southold
Dear Mr. McLaughlin:
Please let this confirm the discussion of the Planning
Board with respect to the above mentioned proposal at the
March 30 , 1987 meeting.
It was requested that the layout be revised so that the
lots proposed will not have an impact on the road and any
open space will be more beneficial to the community.
It was also noted that there is a drainage problem due
to an existing low spot which must be considered in the layout
of this proposal.

The Board reviewed the above mentioned subdivision at
the Monday, February 9, 1987 meeting.
It was the consensus of the Board to prefer a conventional
layout or a cluster with 40 , 000 square foot lots to provide
more open space. The Board feels that the cluster as proposed
would have no benefits to the Town.
