Re: Dedication and Release for
Peconic Development Corp. Subdivision
Wells & Oaklawn Avenue, Southold
SCTM #: 1000 - 70 - 03 - 22
Dear Mrs. Finnegan:
I have been contacted by the office of Pat Moore with regard to the landscaping for the above
referenced subdivision. Previously, the subdivision had been deemed complete and ready for
dedication to the Town with the exception of the landscape planting around each of the two sumps.
At that time, the developer was informed that dedication could not move ahead until this landscaping
had been replaced. I was notified by Pat Moores office last week that the screen planting in question
had been replaced.
Recent inspections were performed by my office and by Mr. Harris himself. It was noted
during these inspections that at least 40 dead plants still exist. Mr. Harris will not accept the
landscaping as complete until all of these plants have been replaced. In addition, Mr. Harris
suggested that he be contacted directly at 765-3140 to coordinate the required replacement of
landscaping.
If you have any questions concerning this matter, please contact my office.
