Dear Mr. Haynor:
This is in response to the letter of Muriel Brush, Secretary to the
Planning Board, dated May 18, 1979, which letter was received in my office
on May 21, 1979, the day on which a Planning Board hearing to determine
off-street parking requirements for the above-captioned project pursuant
to Sections 110-112 of the $outhold Town Code has been scheduled.
answers to Mrs. Brush's questions are as follow:
1) Grade of traffic access to be approximately
six inches according to elevations shown on map dated
April 12, 1979, prepared by ~oderick Van Tuyl, P. C.
2) Lot 005.0001 Block 01.005 Section 062.00.
5) No deed restrictions or covenants are known
to the contract vendees of subject property.
4) Existing zoning is "B-l," C~neral Business.
5) Outline of existing structures shown on map
by Van Tuyl referred to in paragraph 1, supra.
6) No outdoor lighting or public address system
is planned for subject property with exception of nor-
mal entry type lights on building and light on name
sign at front of property.
7) Proposed access and egress for subject prop-
erty is shown on Plot Plan prepared by Albert A. Sacco
and Gordon K. Ahlers, which plan also shows corner ele-
vations demonstrating an essentially flat lot with no
contour grading required.

8) Grading, screening and landscaping shown
on Plot Plan of Sacco & Ahlers referred to in para-
graph 7, supra. In this regard, it should be noted
that within the past several weeks the owner of land
adjoining subject property on the north and east has
begun planting a series of shrubs and plants which
will form a lovely and colorful screen for the park-
area of subject property.
If you, or any other members of the Planning Board have other
questions relating to your determination under Sections 110-112 of
the Southold Town Code, please feel free to raise them during the
public hearing scheduled for 2~15 P. M. this date.

Gentlemen:
In reviewing the proposed site plan for East End
Insurance Company, Main Road, $outhold, New York. I
find they are providing just enough for their business.
Four cars can be parked in the rear and three along the
driveway leaving ten feet for traffic.
The building occupies 21% of the lot.
