The following action was taken by the Southo1d Town
Planning Board on Monday, April 25, 1988.
RESOLVED that the Southold Town Planning Board grant sketch
plan approval sUbject to submission of final maps showing the
proposed drainage, submission of road profiles for a 25 foot
Right-of-Way with 20 feet of paving, and health approval.
Sketch plan approval is conditional upon submission of
final maps within six months of sketch approval, unless an
extension of time is granted by the Planning Board. Four of the
six maps must enclude Health Department Approval (Article 6).

A permit will be required pursuant to Section 136 of the Highway law for
any improvements this Department deems necessary along the County right-of-
way.
No widenings or reconstruction is presently planned for this County road
within the area of the subject site.
The developer will be required to build a carmon drive as access to CR 48,
Middle Road for lDts 1 2 & 3. No separate access to CR 48 will be permitted
from any lot in this subdivision.

Enclosed is a proposed subdivision Map which shows the placement of a
50' road to intersect with County Route 48 at Southold.
Prior to recommending the issuence of final approval I want to know if
your office has any problem with the proposed siting of the road. When built,
the paved portion of the right-of-way will intersect with C.R. 48 as close to
a 900 angle as possible.
