SPECIAL MEETING
BOARD OF EDUCATION
FISHERS ISLAND SCHOOL DISTRICT
October t 4. t 997
CALL TO ORDER
Meeting was held in the Superintendent's office of the Fishers Island
School and was called to order at 2:05 p.m. by Superintendent
Cornelius O'Connell.
MEMBERS PRESENT Jeffrey Edwards, George Horning and Aaron Lusker
OTHERS PRESENT Cornelius O'Connell, Superintendent, and Charles A. King, architect
SCHOOL ROOF Motion by J. Edwards, seconded by G. Horning, and carried, the
Board accepted the low bid and awarded the roof replacement contract
to Mitchell Contracting Company, Inc. of East Hartland, CT for
applying a modified bitumen system at a cost of $206,000 (Two
hundred six thousand dollars).
ADJOURNMENT Motion by J. Edwards, seconded by A. Lusker, and carried, the
Board adjourned the meeting at 2:30 p.m.
