Dear Diane:
I have been attempting to obtain the requisite maps of the
Frank Stillo subdivision from Roderick Van Tuyl, P.C. The surveyor
has been unable to locate the appropriate map. Therefore, I am sub-
mitting to you a map of property made by Roderick Van Tuyl, P.C. for
Bennett Brokaw which encompasses both the Frank Stillo minor sub-
division and part of the Peter Sledjeski minor subdivision. The
five (5) northerly lots on the map are those lots contained in the
Frank Stillo minor subdivision.
I will continue to attempt to obtain the correct maps from
Roderick Van Tuyl, P.C. They must exist in that you have one in your
file. If you can use the enclosed maps, please do so.

The following action was taken by the Southold Town Planning
Board, Monday, April 14, 1986.
RESOLVED that the Southold Town Planning Board accept and
request compliance with Inspector John W. Davis' report No. 493
regarding the required improvements on the access road within the
minor subdivision of Peter Sledjeski at Orient.
Enclosed is a copy of that report for your review.

Re: Access road through a 3 lot minor subdivision formerly owned by
P. Sledjeski and connected to a 5 lot minor subdivision formerly
owned by F. Stillo.
Comments:
Note No.2 on the Sledjeski property as follows: (All storm water falling
on or flowing across the tract shall be contained within the tract by
suitable drainage structures.
Ground elevations shown on the east and west property lines of the Stillo
property indicate that runoff is from north to south. Also, ground
elevations on the east and west property lines and the 30 ft. R.O.W. on
the Sledjeski property show runoff to the south. Topsoil depths in the
30 ft. R.O.W. (Sledjeski) is ] ft.+.
Recommendations - Sledjeski access:
1. Road width 15 ft.
2. Remove topsoil for 12".
3. Replace topsoil excavation with 6" of a good grade of clean fill.
4. Place a compacted 6" course of sand and gravel bankrun (gravel content
to be 20%) on the replaced material to equal the original surface.
5. Place a crowned compacted 3" surface course of 3/4" stone blend on
the bankrun.
6. Install 8'-0" diam. x 8'-0" storm water leaching pools with 6 "
concrete slab and cast iron frame and grate right and left at R.O.W.
intersection with the State Hwy. Locate leaching pools 20 ft. back
from the property line. If ground water will not permit use of two
leaching rings (8 ft.), use one ring only.
A road profile is to be submitted for both subdivisions.
Also, a new roadway meeting a New York State highway requires a permit.
The subdivision owner or owners should contact the state as to the
requirements in this matter.
The Planning Board is to be notified when any work is to be started on
this project.

Dear Mr. Cardinale:
Your correspondence to Victor Lessard, dated February
11, 1986, was forwarded to this office.
In review of the file, it appears that access to
the Stillo 5-lot subdivision is over property now or
formerly of Peter Sledjeski. No report has been
submitted regarding the required improvements which
would be needed on the Sledjeski right-of-way. This
information would be required prior to beginning
construction on the improvements.
It has corne to our attention that Mr. Mohring also
purchased the Sledjeski property and if this is so, would
you please advise us so that we may have our Inspector proceed
with the report on the improvements.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact

Dear Ms. Schultze
Pursuant to your letter of March 11th and as per our
telephone conversation of March 13th, please obtain, as
quickly as possible, the inspection report referred to in
your March 11th letter, and forward to us a copy.
Please also note that, as I indicated during our
telephone conversation, it had been our understanding as
contract purchasers of the Sledjeski and Stillo parcels,
that the improvements to the 30 ft. right of way as set
forth in Mr. John Davis' report 1412 dated November 19,
1984 and approved by the Southold Town Planning Board by
resolution dated December 17, 1984, constituted the Town
requirements for the 30' right of way commencing at the
Main Road and continuing through both the S1edjeski and
Stillo properties.
Please forward to us a separate report from Mr. Davis
regarding the improvement required for the 30 ft. right of
way, as it runs from the Main Road through the Sledjeski
property (as you indicated is necessary in your March 11th
letter) confirming the understanding indicated above.
Please expedite as I will need this letter prior to
scheduling closing of the matter.
